A perk on the Speech tree lets you invest in stores, though you need like 75 or 80 speech to get it, so it takes quite a bit of dedication.

Have any of you gotten a good use of the werewolf curse/blessing? I mean, if you have people with you they will attack you, you can't loot corpses or chests, and you're still fairly easy to kill. I guess it looks cool and all, but I hardly ever end up using it, and I've had it since level 5 I think (I'm lvl 26 now).

There are 2 cool thinigs about being a werewolf: resistance to disease, since it's very easy to catch something running around tombs and madmen lairs, and the way you look. That's it. I think I changed into a werewolf 3 or 4 times, out of curiosity. It's
Also there is a huge drawback - you can never rest well, which means you don't get the 5%/10%/15% bonus to skill gains you get for resting.
I've found it disappointing, really. You don't get to fight better, sprint is only marginally faster, you have to wait till you change back which takes a couple of minutes longer than any fight you might have gotten yourself into. Eventually you get a ring that lets you control when and for how long you change, but it's not making being a werewolf any better.

Yeah the werewolf is cool initially, but it turns out to be pretty useless pretty quickly. On the harder difficulties you take a lot of damage very quickly and you can't heal yourself short of finding a body to munch on, which is usually not viable in the heat of battle.

How about vampirism? I contracted the disease early in the game and got worried, but luckily it was removed by a blessing. There was of course a moment when I did consider just embracing the night!

Pff, you don't sparkle, what's the point of becoming a vampire ?
Cheap twilight jokes aside, I was thinking about it until I realized how much better the game looks during daylight and that exploring Skyrim at night would make me miss quite a bit of lovely sights.
Changing the topic a bit: who here loves shooting a bow in this game ?:D Melee combat is fun and can look great, with all the special death animations, decapitations etc.. but It simply cannot be compared to the satisfaction one gets after clearing out a bandit camp from afar only to come and see all 14 of the 14 arrows shot are sticking out of the dead bandits head. It's no bf3 sniping, but it requires more skill than bashing someone with a sword repeatedly.

I agree :) Archery was a bit weak with me at first, but now with my pimped bow and boosted by sneak attack perks, it rocks!

It's so satisfying in this game how an arrow can send a body flying.

As far as land battles go, I can't think of anything major. I think we may have had a skirmish or something, but most of the action happened farther north. BUT, we did have the Battle of Hampton Roads, which ****s on most other civil war battles.

If you give any kind of **** about the Revolutionary War, Yorktown is only like an hour from me. Not to mention Williamsburg and Jamestown. And I also sorta live right next to the world's biggest naval base. So yeah, take that New York!

I know that battle, its one of the most important naval conflicts of the war, my civil war book is quite in depth but doesn`t mention naval conflicts that much, unless it involves naval operations supporting land operation in locations such as the Mississippi River etc.

I played this but ended up ruining the game by hitting the very first guy you meet with sneak attacks for an hour till my sneak was lvl 100. At lvl 100 you get a skill that makes it so when you crouch you go invisible for a second. The thing is if you use a dagger while using this skill and do the timing right you can execute a sneak attack in the middle of combat and almost everything dies in one hit. This essentially means you can do 15 times damage on every hit you do. Now the game is so boring. Whyyyy did I do that. I can't go back either because its too tempting to exploit the game again.
