Upto level 38 now and really trying to focus on the main quest missions, I've been side-tracked for so long now with the misc.missions that this game seems to be running on forever.

I've played through the main quest and am doing side quests at the moment. Still really love the game but am annoyed at all the game-breaking bugs! I encountered one that really annoyed me because it screwed up one of my side quests so I started all over again. I'm at level 42 now... yeah. I found the main quest kinda anti-climatic but some of the side quests are freakin' awesome.

I've had a big problem with a side quest bug. I was trying to complete Gauldurs quests where you have to find the different fragments, had most of them but the one in Geirrodur Hall I was unable to pick up due to a bug which is mentioned a lot on the internet. The bug seems to occur, to players like me that have previously cleared out the location which I did early on on the game and then go back much later on when they realize that a fragment is there. I'm also on level 39 now and fire a mean bow.

Yeah, somehow I did something to screw up the Thieves Guild questline so I could never be guildmaster. I started again so that I could :) I'm 42 and fire a mean bow, too! I also deadly double-wield stealth attack ;)

Which bow do you use, I've got the ebony bow and the one that does extra shock attack as well. I've pretty much maxed up my bow skills and also really working now on boosting up sneaking skills, the sneak and bow combo is deadly.

What patches have they released so far?

I've got an ebony bow with shock attack as well! I'm doing the same thing - maxed by bow skills and now working on sneak and one-handed... sweeeeeet.

They recently released a patch that provides those slow-motion cinematics for bow attacks in addition to one and two-handed attacks... that's all I really know of. I play on Xbox and I'm not often connected to Xbox live.
