Regarding classic games, I heard a ton of good things about gog.com (short from good old games). Not only do they usually include a ton of extras like graphics, manuals etc but also apparently make sure all their games are patched and can be run on modern machines without using the dos command line.
Like when you buy Baldurs Gate 2 for 10$, you also get the Throne of Baal expansion pack and 2 manuals (181 pages),15 HD wallpapers, soundtrack,13 avatars
,87 artworks, a map and a Throne of Bhaal reference card. Sounds like a complete package.
And no, they're not paying me
