Default TV/Movie Science-Fiction/Fantasy thread

I don't see this anywhere...

OK, so we have the "Game of Thrones" thread, but that's just for that show. How about one for our favourite sci-fi or fantasy shows or movies? Buffy, Star Trek, Babylon 5, Fringe, Lost, all that lot.

Anyone interested in discussing?

so which is your favourite cut?

I love Blade Runner, though I have to say I'm dubious about a sequel: some things should be left as they are.

That said, my favourite cut is the original, the first one I saw in the cinema.

mine is the first Director's cut

less gore, they didn't fix the "fifth" replicant thing, "father" instead of "fucker"

You WHATTTT???!! You just march yourself to your local video emporium RIGHT NOW young, er, forest gnome, and watch it all the way through!!!

Seriously, you have GOT to see this movie. I know "it's a classic" is a cliche often used when people just think a movie is good and it's not really so, but, well, it's a classic.

Seriously.

Go now. Don't even check for your keys, you can climb back in the window. It's waiting for you.

Go.
Now.

Now.

I get shit for this all the time but I think Strange Days is a better sci-fi movie.

that's still a better choice than Johnny Mnemonic, though

you'd have to be an ultra-ultra hipster to say that

Do you not know what "hipster" means? Is that what the problem is?
