Never played Okami, but I much prefer GTA IV to the silly Saints Row the Third. GTA IV, like most of its predecessors, was a compelling game that had me wanting more all the way through till the end. Saints Row the Third, perhaps for lacking any sort of realism at all, coudln't keep my interest for more than a handful of hours before I found I suddenly had no wish to go back to the game.

GTA IV 5

I'm taking 4. The original is great for nostalgia, but I'd argue that 4 has the greatest single player campaign in video game history.

Yes and no for me. I thought SS was the best Zelda game in terms of gameplay and dungeons, but it was a massive letdown for sidequests and exploration.

If it was the 2002 gamecube remake of Resident Evil I might have to think twice before I vote, but because it's not I'm going with Resident Evil 4. The game really did find the perfect control scheme for 3rd person shooter action games, and while it could be argued that Resident Evil 4's success is the reason why survival horror doesn't exist any in the AAA gaming industry, the game itself was still a great game to play and one of the reasons to own a Gamecube.

Resident Evil 4 - 1
Resident Evil - 0

I hated that dowsing mechanic so much as well. I did like the ending a lot, the last couple boss fights were pretty epic, and i've never had a zelda game with that many characters on screen.

4 is my favorite game of all time. I've completed it like 20 times on gamecube, and then i bought the wii version and beat it few more times. Got every gun and everything in mercenaries. It's the reason im still gonna purchase re6 even if it sucks.

Ya, the dowsing was pretty lame. I thought the last boss fight was a letdown. You just meet the guy and then he turns out to be one of the easier bosses in the game. Overall though, the game probably had the best boss fights out of all Zelda games.

I never got on with Resident Evil 4, as the plot just got too ridiculous for me to handle. Even though RE 1 has not aged well by any means, I prefer it, largely due to the big nostalgia glasses I am currently wearing :D

I've not played Okami or Saints Row 3 so cannot really compare. I've heard great things about Okami so am very tempted to get the HD version on my PS3

Not sure if these ones are too niche, but they were my favourite Genesis games.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors was also on SNES.

As I mentioned, these are my favourite two Sega Genesis games, so it's really tough for me to decide. I think I'd give it to ToeJam & Earl though. Probably the coolest game of all time, on top of it being really fun to play.
