meh, I never got into The Simpsons enough to the point where I would watch it religiously ever week.

I only catch an episode here or there but it doesn't impress.

It's pretty much the only adult cartoon I watch. I tend to think a lot of those animated shows rely too much on offensive humour or parodies of other things whereas The Simpsons can be quite amusing without vulgarity or having to spoof popular culture.

I love seeing pop culture spoofed though and The Simpsons HAVE spoofed pop culture.

I do get what you mean though, they don't do it as much.

It's just spectacularly not funny. I don't laugh.

Since there's a difference in Anime and Cartoon - I'd pick American Dad as favorite cartoon.
I'm not watching much TV anymore to be honest, so I can't say much about the others...

As a kid I enjoyed watching Biene Maja (Maya the bee), The Little Polar Bear (Der kleine Eisbär) and Vicke Viking (Wickie und die starken Männer).
There were hardly ever Anime on TV, but I like are Pokémon and Toradora!

Dear god, German makes everything sound evil.
