That was also back in the day when I'd rent games from hollywood video and never return them

I would prefer that the content of those DLC came with the game. i liked the old formula where you would unlock extra content in a game by playing it and passing it instead of just buying a DLC. It feels like content used to come in a full package but nowadays it is compartalized to make more money out of it. I'm aware not every game out there is following this formula and im glad for that but the sad thing is, they could if they wanted to.

yeah but so much of it is rubbish it doesn't matter anyway

take the latest batman game which was awesome, but all the dlc is crap so it doesn't matter
