I know a few people that are like that about Facebook as well. They think they're so much more enlightened than everyone else who uses it. Especially when they use the term "masses" or "sheeple" to describe the users.

Cable is expensive, man. (And theaters are expensive, too - like, damn, I could just pirate that shit for free.)

Netflix and YouTube have everything a person with limited freetime could ever want. ;)
