Honeymooners was crap btw. It was no Green Acres.
Old comedies in general were awful. M*A*S*H was probably the first one I can think of that had anything going for it. Classic doesn't mean I have to give a **** in 2014.

I couldn't get into M*A*S*H. It didn't do anything for me. So weird that so many people used to watch it.

Green Acres? I have more taste in my buttcrack. Jackie Gleason alone trumps that crapfest of a show.

The early seasons were hilarious, and even later on it worked as a dramedy. Quite possibly the best setting for a sitcom ever. Also Hawkeye quite possibly the best lead in a sitcom ever.

The dynamic between Hawkeye and Pierce always sold me on the show. Alan Alda is one of the best actors from the 70's era by a longshot.
