shows you're embarrassed to admit watching

Real Housewives. Kill me now.

Sansa Stark 04-28-2014 11:42 PM

It used to be embarrassing to like Teen Wolf so much but

I want him to be my new Daddy tbh

Black Francis 04-29-2014 12:18 AM

Currently none, but i used to love Saved by the bell and Boy meets world.

djchameleon 04-29-2014 11:19 AM

I used to keep up with the kardashians and all their spin offs but I lost my way some time ago.

Paedantic Basterd 04-29-2014 12:30 PM

I insisted I had no shame about this, but it's a complete lie. For 8 seasons, I was very invested in How I Met Your Mother.

I also followed 2.5 early seasons of the Big Bang Theory.

Those are my darkest comedy secrets.

hate paper doll 04-29-2014 01:26 PM

I tried to blame it on my roommate at the time, but I wound up getting into Gilmore Girls. So lame.

ugh this show!

I had an ex that loved the hell out of it and I'm like what? why? :banghead:

YorkeDaddy 04-29-2014 02:11 PM

I guess Family Guy counts because the members here are far too intellectual for that show, so I'm pretty embarrassed to be associating with something that requires a sub-80 IQ to enjoy

I love that show. Not even sorta kinda embarassed about it either.

Goofle 04-29-2014 02:36 PM

There's nothing I would be embarrassed to admit on here because y'all are cool peeps. But I would never openly admit to closely following WWE to somebody in person, unless I know they watch it too.

ladyislingering 04-29-2014 03:00 PM

I actually really love Little House on the Prairie.

I never really got into the Waltons, but my mom watched the show when I was young.

I also enjoy The Brady Bunch (because there's so much grooviness to take in - I mean, come on, look at the outfits and the set designs!!).

I haven't watched it too closely lately but I know way more about wrestling than a woman my age should.

I like both of those shows as well but at first the obvious punch lines bothered me, it has a very mainstream joke and applause formula that sounds fake.

Also Ted has got to be most generic good guy cliché ever, he is a likable character and all but something about him annoys me.

Dude you should read the chick who played Nellie Olsens book, you would probably love it, she's actually a really awesome person

The Sane Psycho 04-30-2014 05:34 PM

Blue's Clues, but only with Steve, because Joe is a tool.

I'm sure it's because I'm just too high but that's fantastic.

yeah but if you watched the show and heard her open her mouth with the speed of conversations that she had with her daughter. You'd be quickly annoyed. Bank on it!

Not worth the eye candy.

If you want eye candy similar to that type. Watch The Good Wife.

someone here is embarrassed that they watch how i met your mother, as if that's supposed to be some sort of terrible show that someone could make fun of you for viewing

the hilarious elitism of this forum knows no bounds

The Good Wife is the ONLY show I watch religiously, it's brilliant and I'm not EVEN embarrassed to say so

I used to be in the same boat but fell apart somewhere after the second season. I just drifted off and didn't follow it anymore.

Uh, it made my list because I've seen others here disgrace it, thank you.

Getting ready to watch Law & Order SVU right now. Lame or really lame?

Ninetales 05-07-2014 08:53 PM

Not really embarrassed as most of my friends know (what am I saying this is totally shame worthy) but Ive watched basically every episode of pretty little liars and can't stop now. Its garbage and I know this but once I'm wrapped up in suspense I just must know how the hell it ends. And I know it will not satisfy me nearly enough to justify the time I've spent watching it. But what can ya do

djchameleon 05-07-2014 08:59 PM

I felt that way when I used to watch Gossip Girl religiously. I know it was trashy teen night time soap but I was completely into it.

DwnWthVwls 05-20-2014 09:43 AM

I'm not embarrassed but my friends give me **** for enjoying Once Upon a Time. The writing is incredible.

Sansa Stark 05-20-2014 10:32 AM

You're joking right

DwnWthVwls 05-20-2014 11:27 PM

No, I think they are creating a great twist on classic fairy tales and fantasy characters. It gets a little lovey-dovey at times for me which kind of sucks but that aside it's a great show with deep character development/conflict.

I actually didn't get to finish all of Season 3 so unless it took a terrible turn for the worse in the 5-6 episodes I haven't seen I don't see anything wrong with it.

djchameleon 05-21-2014 12:12 AM

I couldn't be bothered with that show. I thought it was a great idea at first and watched a few episodes in the first season but my interest just faded and I decided not to keep up with it. Same thing happened with Grimm.

I watched the Ludacris eps the other day where he punks everybody and gets away with it.

hate paper doll 05-21-2014 01:20 AM

Oh yeah, that's a good one! This last season's been alright despite everyone leaving the show.
