Shaolin Soccer
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...FilmPoster.jpg The english dub is hilariously bad and the whole film is a cheesy mix of asian humour, anime tropes and super powered kung fu soccer. Truly, Stephen chow needs to make more movies. Quote:

Beerfest
Is it horrible or just a work of art. I choose the latter. House Bunny I watched it and found it pretty cute as movies go. Sure it lacks anything that anybody would deem quality but its a good watch. Damn you youtube |
Ahh Beer Fest. i forgot that one..
For some reason that reminded me of this one http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi..._of_furymp.jpg |

If you liked Shaolin soccer, you'll love this: http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pu..._Fu_Hustle.jpg Just as silly, but a lot more epic and there are some really cool visual effects there. |

i luv the homage he does at the loony tunes.. you know that part when he and the land lord lady start running all cartoon like :p: Though Kung fu hustle is better, i prefer Shaolin soccer for its concept. i like the idea of super powered sports. Quote:

This here's proof that something can be so bad it's brilliant. Fails so spectacularly at every effort it makes to be a po-faced sci-fi/action movie and viable sequel that it's actually pretty awesome. Michael Ironside and a young John McGinley are so over the top as the film's villains that they're just an absolute joy to watch. Sean Connery (nonsensical as his character in this movie is) looks like he's really enjoying his role here too, and he's got a good, fun screen chemistry with co-star Christopher Lambert. Also, the latter' old man voice in the 1st act is just about the most unintentionally funny thing ever. Put simply, I love this movie, and for all it's baffling plotholes, ridiculous performances and every other wrong decision they made in production, it's actually the film I enjoy the most out of the whole Highlander franchise. |

Again though, I personally get way more enjoyment out of just laughing my arse off at this one though. From Michael Ironside's overacting to the shameless Blade Runner ripoffs, the hilariously hamfisted environmentalist message and so much more - what's not to love! |
