You weren't talking about games that I care about, so naturally I'll just go somewhere else to talk about them rather than spam up your thread

*ahem* I could be complaining about the same thing but I'm not since my journal is a place for my personal commentary. This thread is more relaxed.

I was just kidding, it's not like im the only one who likes talking about old videogames

I never got into the gameboy but growing up i had a Donkey kong jr Game & Watch handheld

It was a notch above those Tiger handheld games but not quite as good as the gameboy.
The game itself was ok, it plays like Donkey kong jr for the Nes only it's alot harder.

Speaking of Donkey Kong.. one of my fav super nintendo games:

Played the hell out of the 2-player with my neighbor back in the day. So much fun.

D:

Greatest 2D platformer ever made. Greatest video game soundtrack ever made. Best atmosphere of any game I've personally ever played.

Get. On. It. Emulate if you have to. If you liked DKC you will love DKC2 to death

This game legitimately scared me as a kid and it was the music that mainly did it. well that and Jason's jump scares inside the cabins.

though this game has alot of flaws it's actually a pretty creative survival game, the game mechanic of switching between party members was great, if you neglect any party member for too long Jason starts to pick them off one by one until you're only left with Mark cause let's face it, he's the party member you'll mostly be using in the game.

Sonic 2 and Spyro the Dragon were by far, my favourite childhood games. I spent many an hour playing these games to death!
