according to op.gg (which bases all of it’s stats off of plat or higher) he’s now the 4th most frequently top picked laner

back in 8.1 and 8.2 he wasnt even top 10

seen guys like wings, dyrus and voy go from never playing him to bringing him out all the time in their games.

guess silver really isnt that much higher

depends. normally when riot revisits a similar promo. i.e winter skins become available during every winter skin release. you can get legacy skins out of hextech chests though.

For a multiplayer game it seems to discourage friends playing together unless they just so happen to be of a similar talent level.

yeah duo queuing ranked seems like a recipe for a disaster

luckily league has a really solid norms mode with draft. overwatch was a lot worse because quick play is garbage and duoing in ranked makes it really hard to climb (dwn and i experienced this first hand.)

As much as I like LoL I guess I'm not made for ranked cause my first instinct is to give the middle finger to rankings and just play with friends on any mode.

Yup. He fucked me in OW, and fucked Elph in LOL. Can we just ban this whore?

On a serious note, I feel like I can play longer when solo queueing. I go at my own pace, listen to music, and don't have to communicate all of which allow me to focus more on improving my game play. Team play is a whole other beast that I don't have much interest in. I've always enjoyed the challenge of human decision making but playing with others is never as enjoyable.

Also, agreed. Norms in LOL is sooo much better than OW. It's great for friends messing around. 1v1v1 with you and elph was pretty damn fun though.
