S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2
As good as the two official expansions were and as awesome as it is to have a very dedicated mod community to the original game, I still really wish Shadows of Chernobyl got the sequel it deserved. More solid story structure, more interesting sidequests, faction wars, and other additions that were added to the game through the expansions, and a more reliable engine and we could have truly had an atmospheric and deep FPS action RPG. I know a decent amount of the original dev team went on to add elements that were supposedly in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 in the free-to-play multiplayer FPS Survivarium, but the idea of a multiplayer deathmatch in a S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-esque world never appealed to me.
Even in this age of Kickstarter and fucking Shaq-Fu 2, I doubt this game will ever see the light of day.
