Default Horror Movie Survival Thread Discussion (For a Thread in October and Only October)

Alright, so there has been a glut of survivor threads recently, and they have a timeline that might or might not be finished by the time we are all dead, but this is an idea for a thread with a much more compressed period of time. Basically, we do the "vote for the best 'x' thing" thread, but instead of 500 different categories of music albums, we do a vote for the best horror movies of all time that will last from October 1st to October 31st, with no extensions.

We can discuss until then what form the actual voting thread (which will be a standalone thread created on September 31st or October 1st) will take, and what movies will be included, but no matter what, it will only last the month of October, no sooner, no later, and on November 1st the greatest horror movie of all time will be announced.

So let the ideas flow...

We should come up with a list of horror movies to vote on.

Brilliant! If Halloween, Alien, and Leprechaun in the Hood are not included then I'm quitting this forum.

I thought Freddie already kicked Jasons ass back to Camp Crystal Lake.

I could go with that list, but The Blair Witch Project? I sincerely hope you included that out of relevance and not out of not sucking. And isn't there a whole world of Italian horror that we're missing out on? I say that out of ignorance, since I have not watched a single Italian horror movie, but I hear things.

Likewise with Japanese horror.

Notoriety, plus I dig it. My list was a startoff one anyway, I'm sure bob and Exo are gonna want to do some of the work. Also, Suspiria did make the list so we at least have a little bit of marinara on the list.

Maybe we can make it into 100 movies?

I'd recommend including Pulsa aka Kairo if you want to japan things up.

31 days. 100 movies. Not gonna work. This will not be another Rock Album Survivor thread, even if we have to give some deserving movies the shaft.
