Yeah, I grabbed Moon and started but I don't have my starter Pokemon yet.

Finished the first of the four trials a little while ago. Really digging the game so far. The new Pokemon all seem to be quite neat, and the Aloan forms are awesome. My Grimer has been wreaking havoc.

I'm like five hours in. Rufflet is kinda OP early on but I love him. I'm very firm on using only new Pokemon and there's not a ton of great options early on. Currently besides my starter I'm focusing on Mudbray, Crabrawler (although I've heard you can't evolve it until really late which sucks), and the bug that looks like a plug. Great game so far although the early tutorial sections are boring and slow

Crabrawler has been kind of disappointing thus far for me, but I'm hoping he'll improve when he evolves. Alolan Grimer and Riachu are my two favourites in my party atm.

I might try to get Bewear as my fighting type instead. I love Crabrawler's evolution but I don't want to wait until right before the elite 4 to get it tbh. I could just stash him and let exp share keep him a decent lvl, we'll see

Currently struggling to find a female Salandit at the volcano park (don't catch a male because it will never evolve)

Wow thefirst two totem pokemon were tough but I just one-shot the third one. Mudbray makes it pitiful, and he's found on the same island and comes with Bulldoze ffs

ffs I know, got mine to level 25+ before finding it out. Found a female on my first try and accidentally one hit ko'd it. Might go back and try to find one later, but for now I'm just saying **** it. Also considering going after a Wishiwashi for the schooling ability, haven't caught one yet but the stats while schooling are ****ing rad.
