Took a laptop for a routine repair and saw he had a Discord-esque chatroom bookmarked that should have been blocked by our filter, but the chatroom was advertised as being for businesses so i guess it slipped by. In the chatroom they were saying some pretty filthy stuff and the time stamps suggested it was during school hours so I had to do something. Scrolled a bit to see how deep the rabbit hole got and see comments about school shootings (this was shortly after Parkland). One kid was like “i can get you guys weapons no jk” and they were making comments targeting paricular students that they disliked.

Now do I think they were serious about any of this? Probably not but I’m not playing games here fam, as a school employee I obviously had an obligation to report them.

Three kids were suspended, I had to talk to a detective, don’t know if anything more happened to the kids. Two of them were seniors only a couple months from graduating

I’ve been thinking lately that school shooters are unfairly maligned and it should be re-evaluated as an act of heroic protest.

* more kids killed in school than soldiers in war makes a great case against the compulsory component

* slavery must be abolished

* you can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs
