Default MB Video Game Classics: Suikoden 5

Ive never heard of or even played a Suikoden game so I'll not be voting in this one. Anyone that has played any of these feel free to comment on them.

I've only played 4, 5, and part of 2 but Suikoden is ****ing great and I played 5 till the wheels came off. The characters are pretty great and there's over a hundred you can put in a party of six so you're never stuck with ****ty ones (kinda like Pokemon tbh), the RTS elements aren't exactly reinventing any wheels but I'm a sucker for that ****, and you get your own ****ing castle. I really wish I hadn't sold my PS2 with all my games; I checked on Amazon and eBay and Suikoden 5 goes for over $60.

I think my team was Dinn, Belcoot, and Isabel in front, and Jeane, and Zerase in the back with the main character.

Also Sialeeds got mad character design, yo. If that was my aunt I'd move to West Virginia.

I think it started insufferably slow. And the graphics are really drab, although at least more colourful than in Suikoden 4. I remember really loving Suikoden 1 and especially 2. Never played the 3rd one, as it was never released in Europe.

5 probably wasn't bad per se, but I just couldn't be bothered after the first 10 hours or so proved largely a drag.
