Shadow Warrior's great, though I've only played through the first few levels.
I still need to try out Rise of the Triad at some point, I've heard that a lot of the stuff from that game was originally pitched for Doom. |

You can be shot with a net and cut yourself free with a knife. You can find a gas mask to protect you from toxic gas traps. There's some humorous "power-downs". Plus floating platforms and other little things other shooters didn't have. Lots of traps and environmental hazards. Way more than in other shooters. It's one of the thing that makes the game fun. The game feels like the developers just crammed in everything they could think of while having fun making the game. I love how it sometimes makes elevator trips longer and trolls you by playing muzak ![]() |
