A couple of covers of lyrics by Alexander Bashlachev (the most talented poet in the so-called Russian rock).
The Christmas Song https://youtu.be/7CTpAvqdXK0?si=JgycpMb4suORKWv1 The rains are slanting in the open field. btw, one of the most powerful quatrains was not included in the cover: "...On the fronts of world poetry Honest people are all saints. I didn't know where to look for Russia, But Russia is Ross and you..." (a pun, in Russian Russia can be broken down into "Ross and me" by sound) But the most powerful lines were: "...I saw you, Russia, And now look where I am..."
