In other news i've found some inuit hip hop from Greenland called Nuuk Posse , but I can't find any album downloads just one single song.
Oh and a cd for £18 , only I don't want to hear it THAT badly.

From Italy I have GOBLIN. Dario Argento's (genius visual director) in house soundtrack band. I think you will really like them. Elements of Rock, Electronic and Avant garde.

I've heard of them , I know nothing about them though or that they're Italian.

I'll make a mental note.

The film is awesome too. Very arthouse.

Anyway i've decided my goal for 2008 will be to listen to as many albums from as many countries as I possibly can.
But I need some help filling out the blanks. To start this of I figured the best place to start would be Europe.
I shall pick one band from each country , I have been through my own collection and so far i have ...

Which means I need bands from the following countries if anybody can recommend some please...

Genre isn't really an issue , I just want something interesting.
How about checking our some authentic folk music from other countries.
To start with check out Rustavi from the republic of Georgia.
That is something really different

My metal bands are the only ones I country code and I'm looking into doing the rest. So I could probably fill almost every vacancy with a metal band, but you probably wouldn't care too much for them since I don't think you like metal much... nevertheless:

Hieronymus Bosch from Russia (prog death, but quite original)
Lykathea Aflame from Czech Republic (ditto)

The only metal I REALLY can't stand is power metal or symphonic stuff. Most metal I can listen to in short doses.

I see that you already have a band from Germany..but you should really check out "Colour Haze" awesome band that Merkaba got me into. I'd be glad to upload what I have.
