some how, by the grace of whatever is in the general direction of "up", i have passed (barely, with some crying and pleading involved) passed my zoology class

i'll never take another science class just because i like the instructor again,...ever ever ever ever ever

this semester has been INSANE,....i have moved twice, broken my foot, been orphaned (so she says) by my mother,........and my roommate got thrown in jail (the first move) and is still there two weeks later

so as i head off to the last final of the semester, ever so joyfully,....here are some musical highlights that got me through the past three months

YouTube - winston rodney (burning spear) - jah no dead acapella
YouTube - Sufjan Stevens - Vesuvius
YouTube - The Tear Garden - Made In China, Part 2
YouTube - susan tedeschi angel from montgomery
YouTube - Wu Tang Clan "C.R.E.A.M."
YouTube - DEAD PREZ - TURN OFF THE RADIO
YouTube - Fubura Sekibo - Psychedelic Baby

Dang, sounds like a rough couple of months! Good list right there, though.

Dope.

I'm starting real school next year. I kind of dread it. Not sure how I'm going to take to it.

with the holidays over,....i'm still left seeking a sense of home that i think should be around this type of year

YouTube - Bonnie Raitt 12 - Can't Find My Way Home (orig. by Steve Winwood)

i dont know what it is about this time of year that always leaves me feeling less than whole, i know i live in this cycle, i know this is the way i feel every year, i dont know why i dont plan for it better,.....i dont know why it still hits me so hard after i know its coming,.....

YouTube - Can't Sleep At Night - Susan Tedeschi

today i havent been able to keep the damn heater lit, for the first time in my life i feel like i'm living without the proper blanket count, the sun refused to show himself, and the moon just reflects my waning self confidence

but i think my short lived annual blues phase is starting to kick off once again

YouTube - The Derek Trucks Band - Down Don't Bother Me

i think march is a great time to start although it's still gonna be cold. have you mapped out how long? are you gonna doin the whole thing?

i was thinking it would take me about six months to do if i did it properly.
what about gear? have you decided what you are gonna pack? are you gonna have someone mail you supplies along the way?

Totally dig your views on music and for the most part your taste. I guess as a fellow Texan it makes sense.
