Mucha Na Dziko's flow of Thoughts
BLOGG So I've always yearned for a place where I can just express my thoughts (or as I call it in polish "przemyślenia i przyuważenia" – which I guess would in English be "thoughts and notices", but that doesn't really get, what these two words mean, but whatever). Why Not here ? Fell free to always comment or disagree – with or about – anything. All (and any) points of views, perspectives, ideas; any comments (on any subject) Are very welcome |
"Post-Grunge"
What the hell is that supposed to mean? Grunge comes from basically joining punk with rock (that is soft – "soft rock" if you will) And calling your band's genre "post-grunge" just seems to me plain dumb. Like "I don't know any of music's history or theory or anything, but when I was a kid I was listening to a lot of grunge...but I'm not making grunge! I'm making music that is made by me! And I was listing to grunge...so it's post-grunge!" Really? |
Zack de la Rocha's behaviour, expression, performance and show during this gig:
Reminds me (and is quite nearly on par with Marley's One Love Peace Concert showmansship ( the infamous FROM SHOWMAN TO SHAMAN quote). Just with a bit less of spirituality and a bit more of that maoist revolutionary socialist vibe. The sheer power of joy of being able to say what one wants to say without boundaries. When you know that the thousands the stand before you understand your call; and understand your word. They understand your call for help, but a shadowed one, by the concepts of revolutions (the facade). The Poet vs The Revolutionary The Artist vss the Activist The Shaman vs The Frontman But the same all at once Here's the Marley's one, just for comparison: |
****, just listen to the Woodstock '99 live version of "Wake Up"
God, These guys got it |
What the f**** is Tom Morello doing from 45:55 upwards with that solo
|
Is it the dreads?

The Best Live Peeeerfformance ever
Jesus Christ Just listen to This Perfformance Isn't it the single greatest live performance ever played? With all the little contexts behind it, and the awesome power of this weirdo's band's playing. |
Marley's tone and dance opens new thought and emotion flows in the subtle nature of a conscious mind
|
Based on this single performance
I am 100% positive On saying that Bob Marley is the greatest vocal artist in this universe Just listen to his phrasing! He's better live, than on record and his records are all [quitee often also] kiilers. |

Just a bit of friendly advice. It's your journal and you're of course free to do with it as you will, but it's not a good idea to post every thought in a separate post, a sentence at a time. You should get your thoughts and ideas together and post in one or maybe two posts. Generally I find people don't like to read short, one-line posts one after the other; they want something interesting to read. After all, you can always go back at any time and edit your post to add in more stuff.
But like I say, your journal, you do as you like. I just personally wouldn't keep reading something that comes in tiny multiple posts when it could as easily and indeed better serve in one or two larger ones. I know you want a kind of scratch pad, but you should remember that you presumably want people to be reading what you're writing, so you need to write for them as much as for yourself. |
Nah. There's a flow to his little blurts like Elph at his best, I like it. If he made a long text out of it, it would be ruined.
|
Plus it really captures that weed thought flow.
|
Fair enough. Not the way I'd do it, but if you're all happy with it, it is his journal after all. Just thought I'd offer my input. I don't like elph's single-line posts, but I guess that's a personal thing. Never having touched weed (except in the garden when digging them up) I am obviously out of the loop here.

Does "Elph" refer to the user Elphenor? |
It sure does
Some of his posts may be questionable content at best, but his posting style sure has flair |

"questionable"? In terms of quality or ideology (of some sorts)? |
Elph has a tendency to act like if Dracula had a teenage emo phase but he's a top lad and the forum's #1 source for great punk music

I dunno whether anyone here listened to any of my songs on soundcloud
But for those of you that did (or also maybe for those that didn't), I actually have 3 separate accounts on that platform. One of which is the "main" current one ("Mucha Na Dziko"), the second one being a place where I can just post song/sonic ideas ("Tajemnice Jogi Poznania"), and the third one being the original one (called "Goodstuff & The Beauty Makers", and it was an account I started when I was 16, to post some ****ty songs – at the time I thought they were amazing – that I continued up until I was about 20, when I created the "Mucha Na Dziko" account, to cut myself from hat stuff) Anyway, "Goodstuff & The Beauty Makers" is a joy to listen to. There are no rules or boundaries, there's just me being myself I guess (not counting my greatest accomplishment – "The Cat Farm Trouble" – a concept album I made in Paris [but it's to personal/unfinished, that I keep it from being public]) And having some of the best ideas for songs, that I've ever had |

I've just reconnected with my friend from elementary school
And I must tell you: It feels good |
I'm watching the first episode of the show "Maniac", and I really enjoy it.
Not for the plot or anything like that particularly, but for the style of world building. When you begin to watch the thing, it seems like it's happening today, but then you start to see, notice the little things that seem "out of this time period". And after 15-20 minutes you realise it's a near distant future, but a one that has won one side some super otherworldly stuff going on, and some vintage/80s/90s technology elements. And then when you think of it: you don't actually know what parts of the shown world are real and what aren't because the character you follow is an schizophreniac. Perfect world building/experience building. Though I'm not sure it will lead to anything as good. |
Though, if I might add, the scene between Owen and his father is acted really spot on. With attention to the little details of how a (business/not that into emotions and psychology) father would act towards his schizophrenic son would act.
And how the son sees that, but decides to ignore it |
Do you think "Joane Mallory" is a good name for a fictional character?
("Joanne" is misspelled on purpose, in order to read it more like "John" – just with that feminine "e" at the end) |
[Also: how come Pastis is not the most popular alcohol out there?
It's not like anise is a some hard to find plant. I mean, I know it's quite disgusting for most human beings; but certainly not more than Vodka or Whiskey (and certainly not as disgusting as gin-tonic). And the idea/style/way/culture (the south, the heat, the ice, the water, the drink that never ends) should by itself be enough to make people want to drink it. But no. It's reserved to the south of Europe (Italy/France/Spain). How come this marvellous drink hadn't spread across the world? :offtopic::shycouch::afro::pimp::usehead:...] |
I second that, pastis is great

In two or three days my drummer will arrive at where I'm at (Sete), and he'd never drunk it, so we'll see. But on the other hand, the guitarist of the band – Szelest – had always hated the drink. |
This post is about the 1st episode of the series:
How many times have I had the feeling that the main character of "Maniac" has at 27:30 – up ? A lot? "A lot is not enough". NO! It's too much! Like: He feels there's this person – that is just passing through – and he knows, they could have an amazing relationship with each other; but he doesn't do anything [life is hard] – - Why didn't I take the chance? - No idea. Why didn't you? - I have no idea. |
I'm currently writing a nove.
|
It's called
"From A, too Z" :bringit::confused::drummer::confused::shycouch: :band: :dj::shycouch::bonkhead: :love: |
It's a funny feeling:
When I write something here soon MB, most of the posts/responses come 12h later – (apart from Marie Monday and Lisnaholic, as most off the people here are from the US [at least I think so] – so every time I post something, there's no point in checking out MB, because there's the time jump happening |
"funny feeling" is a funny expression

We don't have one like it in polish
(while Polish is the most complicated/thought of/sophisticated/interesting language I know of – I mean that in a linguistical way, I'm not downplaying any other language: it's just that polish is an extremely complicated language, the complexity of which most people speaking the language don't realise of [this sentence makes perfect sense & sounds pretty since/literature like in polish]) |
Nouns, pronouns and verbs can all be declined by person, time, space, and the combinations of these – which makes the language very precise; but also allows the speaker to make the sentences very abstract
|
Sadly, most polish speakers don't realise that
|
Because the extreme most of polish people are extremely dumb
|
And so they are unable to use the language they've been given in birth to it's fullest extent
|
Dafuq had happened
Somebody had to invent the words; and the conjugaison; and the grammar; and style |
I'd like to speak to Mickiewicz or Słowacki or (more modern) Miłosz or Witkacy or [my soul mate/brother/space sibling] Gombrowicz
