    Oh hell yea... that ProFire 2626 interface is perfect. Looking at it at Musiciansfriend.com, it's got everything you'll need, and run you about 700 dollars... which isn't bad considering you won't be having to buy a mixer or preamps as well.

    Only think you'll need to make sure of is that you have a firewire port on your computer, as the audio interface is too awesome for USB. If you use a laptop without a firewire port, then you can buy a firewire card that fits into your pcie slot or whatever you have.
    If you have a desktop PC and need a firewire card, these will usually be your standard PCI cards that plug into any free PCI slot on the motherboard.

    Also, if you buy a firewire card, make sure it has the Texas Instruments chipset, as those are the most reliable and believe you me, it makes a difference. Mine has a Via chipset and I have problems with it all the time.
