The cool thing about adding it into your music would be to were someone can barely hear it, that is actually a more effective way of using them, from all I've read and my experience. Also if your on spotify, look up js epperson, he makes binaural meditation music and I think he does it very well!

Definitely, that would work, there is also what is called monaural beats which is it already mixed together and your mind still perceives it. I have quite a few helpful links if your really interested, even stronger I recently uploaded what is called isochronic tones- this is a single pitch with a frequency in tremolo that has very fast results in perceived sounds. I have some charts that show from a collective experience of users what each pitch/frequency does to the mind. From sleepiness to dominant problem solving, etc. Would be more than glad to share. And yes sounds like you found it!

I found your binaural beats YouTube videos, I think! :)

So if I played a 300 Hz note in one ear and a 310 Hz note in the other, the binaural beat I'd perceive would be at 10 Hz. If I'm understanding this correctly, does this mean I could make a song where I could control both the pitch and the frequency of the binaural beats? For example, I could have a song that starts with pitch A (440 Hz/450 Hz...to give a 10 Hz binaural beat) then shifts to pitch C (523 Hz/543 Hz...to give a 20 Hz binaural beat)?

I'm interested in having this extra "hidden" dimension to a song where one composes the pattern of binaural beat frequencies. Have you made a song like that? Maybe you could make a thread about binaural beats in the electronica section!

Glad to share something of value, I'm currently creating a series of them on my youtube channel (binaural beats) I've gotten really deep into the science of it in creating 3 layer beats in one. If your interested in more or want a listen to anything I've created let me know. Until then rock on!
