My buddy and I have a lot of television to plow through next week when the cable is out. We plan on powering through the first season at least.

Hehe it was just odd that you only left that message the day before, as I hadn't been here for weeks. Anyway, I had PC issues as my laptop died. I have a new but second hand PC now to at least tide me over depending on how it performs. How have you been?

I've got to agree with your observations. The phrase "jump the shark" was invented in America for a good reason, but I believe that after 12 or 18 episodes, there are probably still a number of great ideas that never come to fruition.
