Lots of people think he's just a Ned Stark replacement. But there's a big thing coming up for him, it's awesome but I won't say more. All I'll say is "The North remembers" ;)

Kinda no big action, but a lot of plotting. You get to see a lot more of other Houses, like I said. But I liked it, it's hard to describe I guess but I only liked it after a third or fourth reread, it's a big letdown after all the action of A Storm of Swords. ADWD is boring as hell, it's good if you like Dany, Jon, and Tyrion but those aren't my favourite characters. There's some good Davos subplot though, and I love Davos.
