I saw the post! Thank you, Pepe. :)

Check my post lately, I found a beautiful song from a female African artist. You should like it.

Thanks for your comment. Look at my response. See what you think.

Pepe, thanks for the info about Franco! I've now listened to Azda. I've also looked for lyrics translations and haven't found many...yet. ;)

Franco was born in 1938 in Kinshasa. he died in 1989 in Brussels, Belgium. He had a great band called OK Jazz. That band went from 1956 up to 1993 (4 years after franco's death). If you like the 1970s, I would suggest hear the song Azda which is about a Zairean agency that was popular during the period.

I see. Well I don't know everything yet but soon I will be able to tell you what those songs are about. Tika means Leave in Lingala.

Well, Pepe, I heard Franco's "Mbanda Na Ngai" and "Tika Kondima Na Zolo" in the Short Songs You Love thread and enjoyed both songs...especially the peppy "Tika" with its cute tweets. So I would like to learn more about Franco right now. I'm curious what they are singing about, for example! :)

Thank you Vegangelica. Which of two you want to hear more? Franco or Pepe Kalle?
