Yeah Invasion was hot stuff, but I think the Onslaught block was my favorite. That's when I really had a selection of cards, and a greater understanding of deckbuilding and dueling rules, to work with.

Pfft! Hardly old school when you consider how long Magic the Gathering has been around, but for my age, it certainly is. The first booster packs I ever bought were from Mercadian Masques, I believe, which was way back in 1999. Jeez, that makes me really nostalgic.
