Question Grand Coulee Dam song?

OK, this is going to be a tough one. When I was in grade school in the late 1950s (I'm an old guy) we used to sing songs in music class. We used to sing a song about the Grand Coulee Dam but it wasn't Woody Guthrie's song and it didn't use the tune of "The Wabash Cannonball". I can only remember the tune and lyrics of last part of the last verse, which went something like this:

"Let all men lend a hand
And spread throughout the land
For Uncle Sam
The great Grand Coulee dam."

I've listened to many different renditions of Woody Guthrie's song and it definitely wasn't his song that I remember.

What I'm up against here is (1) the only clue for this song is my memory of part of a lyric line, (2) the fact that those that might know this song are as old as I am and don't use the internet much and (3) the song may have been a regional song and not known outside of that region. The region in question is St. Louis, MO.

Oh well, I have to make a few more attempts to find the song before I give up . . . .

One never knows what forum rule is lurking to bite. (Of course if I read the forum rules then I'd know. )
