I removed my Google Email and User accounts on the principle of how they data mine user searches and browsing habits, so I'm not interested in creating a Google account, especially after all of the effort in migrating my mail and accounts elsewhere. So I only have a file of the aircheck, or a link. And I don't want a Google account. Sorry, I don't believe things should be so tied to YouTube. But that's fine; thanks.

And as for the last post, advising that I avoid the Internet altogether based on avoiding anything Google, there is Duck Duck Go, which is what Google used to be. Sure you don't get regionalized search, but your searches aren't tracked either. There are options outside of Google believe me. :)

You don't want your internet searches tracked, yet you use your real name (I'm assuming) for an on-line forum?

This isn't searching, and after all, I have no problem standing behind my word in public. Nor do I have no problem being publicly searchable, but that doesn't mean I want everything public. Standing publicly by your word is quite different than your search content being data mined for advertising and such.

It's funny people don't seem to care much about privacy any more. You should want and should be able to "choose" what you make public, so it's not contradictory to post your name publicly, yet want other things private. :banghead:
