Can anyone identify this C86 lyric?

Can anyone help me work out what this song is from the lyrics? It's from the mid to late 80s? (Maybe early nineties)
The lyrics begin "I'm always early to rise/ and i say my goodbyes/ and i mean them"
And the chorus is: "Stay with me/ Please don't go/ Afterglow"
Can't find these lyrics anywhere online.

Hey pal, the song is The Servants - Afterglow.

I've been looking for this song for years. But I only remembered the chorus and couldn't find anything with those lyrics. Then I remembered listening to it on a twee pop list. So I added C86 to the keywords and came across your post. And finally when I searched for the additional lyrics you wrote here I found the song. I know this post is from 2014 but I hope you see this.
