Help With Song Title

Can anyone help me figure out this song and band I've been looking for I saw last week? The video has the teenage son coming home to his drunk dad in a chair with a lit cigarette about to burn out everynight in his fingers. He removes it, takes a drag, goes up to his room and draws an X on his bedroom wall. This happens everynight. Band is made up of 3-4 guys. Has like a Fall out boy feel to it. Video ends with the abusive/drunk dad coming to one night and running up to the bedroom and trying to find his son and there are X's all over the walls. Cops and ambulance show up. It's driving me crazy!! I've heard it on the radio, can't remember the hook to look up the lyrics that way. The dad looks like Robert Patrick(Terminater liquid cop actor guy). Help a guy out.

The only thing that comes to mind is the band Filter, only because Robert Patrick is the older brother of the singer in Filter. But they sound nothing like Fall Out Boy.

I guess Good Charlotte comes to mind too. But I really doubt they are the band you're trying to find.

You're going to have to try to remember more details about the band, lyrics from the song. Right now you won't likely get anyone that will know what band this could be.
