Looking for a song from the 90's or early 2000

Hey all,
I am looking for a song from a black artist with a deep low voice.
I only know a few of the lyrics so I hope somebody will recognize it.
It whas an uptempo song.
The videoclip whas the guy singing with a few background girls dancing and I believe a discoball whas glittering all the time.
So here is the first few lines of the song I still remember:

I sit by the phone.....sit all alone......waiting for you to call to tell me you wanna come home....

Mystics are made....true love awaits...
Dont know any more.
