Song from the 80/90s sounding like something that would came from Depeche Mode

Hello everybody, I just found out about this forum and wanted to know if someone would happen to know this song that I'm seeking the title for easily more than a year...
So, how to describe it ?
I tried my best as a non musician to do the chorus on a online piano site, or at least how it ends because that's the only thing I can clearly remember about the song :

In terms of vocals this is the type of song that I'd have guessed would have been made by Simple Minds or Depeche Mode (especially Depeche mode idk why) , with this subtle touch of reverb added to the voice. In terms of lyrics i'm just affraid that I only remember something sounding like Wake me up (in the said chorus) ,but I think i'm wrong. The only thing I effectively remember is the approximate notes of the end of the Chorus (or any other part of the song I guess? I'm desperate at this point lol) sounding like the google file I uploaded with this tempo of 1 2 3, 1 2 3 , 1 2 3 4 5 (if that makes sense)

If i can answer any specific questions to help I'd love to I just have no other relevant ideas of description I could add (and already struggled a lot to do the online piano thing lol)
