Default Lost Song in Lost Video in Memory

Saw the music video in the early 2000s, so my memory of the song is foggy. I am not certain as to what type of media it is; film, episode, music video? I can only recall two scenes of the 'video' in question. Music is synth of some kind, not sure of the genre. The synth tarts of low, almost like percussion instrument(s) of some sort, before rising in the second scene.

Here's my most recent crude attempt at a reconstruction of what I can recall:

The song is likely in English, though French, German, and even Italian, are distant possibilities.

The first scene features two guys looking at a red gemstone mounted on a plaque fixed to a brick wall. The shot is profile, camera facing their sides. They're wearing white clothes (black pants?) and the guy closest to the camera may have had blond hair. They’re leaning in close to the gem. They’re both standing on a sidewalk, there are gray/white (residential?) buildings in the background, out of focus(?) They’re chanting something, “ahh(s) yuuu/uuu wwwuu/ooooo/eeerrr”, maybe, and then the video cuts to a front shot of the gemstone from a distance. They chant one or two more times, afterwards, the gem expands and fills the whole screen as it does so. Inside the gem, reflections, maybe of the band members, can be seen. Or disembodied heads floating in a void within the gemstone, I can't say for sure. I think one face to the left was smiling, and possibly had a receding hairline.

No details I can recall are precise enough for any google search. Red gemstone? Ruby, sapphire? Red-tinted diamond? Two men in white clothing? Nothing. My little reconstruction? Not recognized.

I'm curious about this video because I had a unique experience involving it years ago.

I would be very thankful for any help. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I also have memory, in a much sorrier state, of another music video that I am fairly certain is actually one. I can recall bright colors, a blue sky? I'm thinking that it has a sunny (beach?) setting. Music consists of the strumming of a guitar and a man singing "oooouuuaaahhh" or other. Beyond that, I can remember nothing else, except for a dark room in a wooden cabin somewhere, but that memory's likely unrelated to any of this.

Exclamation Read the op first before watching this video!

I URGE YOU TO READ THE ABOVE POST BEFORE WATCHING THE VIDEO, WATCHING THE VIDEO FOR THE SAKE OF CONTEXT!

It's especially important to heed this direction as the video itself is very rough. Life got in the way, as it always does.

The video is intended to provide a basic visual guide of the music video. Certain minute details are potentially incorrect as the memory is years old and is thus unreliable.

With all that said, here is the video. Once again, excuse its poor quality.

Edit: Archive of my earliest attempt at recreating the background music.

I have revised my old video, with new, more complete background music, which I hope might be more recognisable. It's still quite inaccurate with the first few notes, and with the tempo of the second half of the sample. I couldn't find any synths online that could satisfactorily replicate the music I could barely remember anyways, nor am I much of a musician. Regardless, it's more complete than my previous attempt, and I was aiming to get anything out at all, better than nothing, I hope.
