Identify original song

This is a song by a Romanian artist.

The section 1:27->1:45 sounds extremely familiar, down to the instrumental break and it has been bugging me all day.
I'm 90% sure it's an Evanescence song. The melody should be *almost* the same, but sung more powerfully. Can anyone help me identify the original song, kindly?
I attached the whole song for context (in order to better identify other elements), and I'm positive there are other similarities with international songs, but what really makes me question my sanity is 1:27->1:45.

UPDATE: The first part of the chorus, I realize now, sounds like "I want to spend my lifetime loving you". That doesn't seem to be the answer though. Thoughts?
