Panic! At The Disco...Well I may be pathetic for this but I LOVE THEM...Their music is great, lyrics are great and their songs are super catchy. I mean you listen to "Time To Dance" And you will be singing "When I say shotgun you say wedding. SHOTGUN. WEDDING. SHOTGUN. WEDDING" The lyrics are so damn catchy. "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies" Another cathcy song "What a shame the poor groom's bride is a whore". Aswell as great music the video clips are entertaining, and as most mainstream bands have, they have an attractive singer. There's always one or more really attractive emo guys in the band, the singer in this band is the "star" of the band, meaning the most attractive "eye candy"

I've got the album too. As a singer, I can appreciate the music, but that's because the vocals are a lot more interesting than everything else in Panic!'s music and its good for singing along to. The lyrics are mostly good and the tunes are mostly good, although you can hear that the album must have been made in a hurry, because there's some weird structuring to a lot of the songs, which doesn't work too well. The rhythm section are alright, they put some decent enough danceable beats down and do some nice stops in most of the songs. The guitar playing is extremely poppy and generally pretty naff. I can fully understand why any guitar players on here might not like this band (the guitarist is pointless).

Panic are definitely rock/disco based pop band. I can't see that they're marketed as anything other than this, so I'm not sure why the hardcore-heads would get worked up about it...

I like the way they use their vocals as an instrument. People may say they're mainstream, but I think they have an original sound. They SUCK live though!

Panic! at the Disco is good, they have a good sound to them and they write decent music, but it's just so stupid how all of sudden out of no where BAM they're HUGE. I've listened to them for almost a year now and they've only been big what 3 or 4 months, it's just stupid how when I rarely do turn on the radio I hear I Write Sins, Not Tragedies. There sound is played so much and overused they just get annoying. Oh well, stupid MTV.
