Jefree Star is big on the internet, doesn't really mean that that weirdo is good. Radiohead have been big on MTV for the past decade, they just used the internet as a way to give the fans back something that they deserve. It's extremely naive to think that a band wants to sound like Panic!, given their very short length in the public eye, and especially since FOB have been an established act far before Panic!.

If they don't want to be like Panic! than please explain why after Panic!'s success they've started to break away from their typical pop-rock thing they've been doing since they started.
And Radiohead have been big on MTV for the past decade? What are you talking about? Radiohead's mainstream popularity has been on a downhill slope since OK Computer, which was released almost 11 years ago. |

They still have the typical pop-rock thing going on...
If they don't what "thing" are they playing so? Yeah they haven't been "ZOMG TRL RADIOHEAD NUMBA OOONNNEEE" since Ok Computer, but every single mofoin' release has featured near heavily on tv. Ok Computer is no where near the best btw.

This Ain't A Scene is extremely pop-rocky.
Verse Chorus Verse Chorus Bridge Chorus The sound itself, not just how the song progresses, is soooooo pop it should come in a bottle priced just under a euro in Tesco's. Not saying it's bad, I like it. Hail to Thief was pretty damn big on MTV, since we're talking about that particular station. The build up to it was big, and then There There had a lot of coverage as did Knives Out. I don't really watch BBC so I couldn't tell you anything about that.
