Yeah they're a really great band. They kinda disappeared from the radar for a while but they're starting to make some headway again. A very good album.

I only had their Moment of Stillness E.P which I really like, so I approached this album with a certain amount of gusto. This was probably the wrong tactic. The first few listens, whilst not without their merits found me disappointed. However like a lot of post rock, it takes a few listens for everything to sink in and you can fully appreciate the layers.

A lot of Post Rock is essentially film soundtrack music, which is just as well as I love a lot of film soundtracks. This sort of music will bore many people and understandably so but if you like post rock or even maybe get off on the ambient sides of Porcupine Tree, then immerse yourself in GIAA. It is never particulary original but remains listenable throughout. A definite grower.
