I didn't say EVERY rapper's version of Milli is better.
But I bet a lot of them are.

V's was really good, Chamillionaire's was average for him. I thought he'd be fast on there like I've heard him do, but no. =/

This is one of the more creative rap albums I have heard in my life. There isn't really a down part. Lil' Wayne is outstanding at being a creative rapper with a unique flow and lyrics unlike anyone else.

"Phone Home" is going to be a cult classic for years to come. There are so many groups of people who are obsessed with this song even though it got very little air-time anywhere.

"P*ssy Monster" is a personal favorite just goofy, obscene track which is one of the more perculiar rap tracks I've heard latelty

"Dontgetit" is a startlingly intelligent political statement from Wayne which is quite admirable in my opinion. It deals with young African Americans, drugs, and the logic behind the police force. Not to mention a genius sample of the Animal's classic "Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood"

Dr Carter, Let the Beat Build, and Mrs. Officer are my personal favorites which I could rant about as well quite easily.

Not to mention the enourmous hits "Lollipop" and "Got Money"

If nothing else, Wayne can appeal the the masses better than almost anyone else in showbussiness.

Sorry to bump this, but since I listened to the Drought is Over 2, which was the Carter 3 sessions, I was thinking that a lot of the songs, if not about all, should've been on the Carter 3. Of course, the Carter 3 is still great, but had he put these songs on there, I'd give it an excellent. It'll be a Very Good, though.

It's very overrated and hyped but I still had to put it at an average.
Compared to most mainstream artists this album shines and I really enjoy his style and his lyricism no matter how much brain damage he's endured from too much pot.
Overall, it's not the best rap album, but it's still pretty raw.

You really think so? Maybe he's just stupid (not trying to insult him for kicks or anything). Was there ever a point where he was more articulate?

Probably, but for a very short second.
He's probably not that dumb.
