I voted pretty good mainly for the reason that I didn't really agree with any of the other choices. I don't really care what anybody says, I liked Sam's Town just as much as Hot Fuss. They were both overplayed though and now I can't really bear to listen to either of them very often.
This one is different...some ways good, some bad. The return of the synths is definitely a good thing. I like the addition of some other instruments like the acoustic guitar on some tracks, brass, and the steel drums on "I Can't Stay". But I thought "Goodnight, Travel Well" was terrible. It drags on way too long and isn't really remotely interesting for most of the song. Can't say I liked "Dustland Fairytale" much either although a lot of people seem to love it. Sounds too much like a sequel to "When You Were Young."
I thought "Neon Tiger" was the best song of any of them, although at this point I can't say if it stacks up to their previous best. My first thought is no, but we'll see.
