yeah, and just think I listen to it all day-long.
anw, I've been trying to make the absolute Porcupine Tree compilation album for some time now. I've already selected the songs and it will be about 2 hours and 40 minutes long, so it will take me two cds and I would have to change cds while I'm driving, but I can't narrow them down anymore. I'm posting the playlist in the current order, and comment if you like.

Disk 1:
1. Fear Of A Blank Planet
2. The Sound Of Muzak
3. Sentimental
4. My Ashes
5. Shallow
6. Halo
7. Anesthetize
8. Lazarus
9. Stop Swimming
10. Normal
11. Arriving Somewhere But Not Here

Disk 2:
1. Deadwing
2. The Rest Will Flow
3. Open Car
4. How Is Your Life Today
5. Don't Hate Me
6. Sleep Together
7. Blackest Eyes
8. Mellotron Scratch
9. Start of Something Beautiful
10. Shesmovedon
11. Feel So Low
12. Way Out Of Here
13. Glass Arm Shattering
14. Trains

Cold but professional.

We can't accuse Wilson of over-acting; he's pretty stoic when it comes to giving a performance. But Porcupine Tree is not Rush nor Arena, so we couldn't ask them to as other could do it. But what a flawless performance, I dare you arguing with me.

Just because they're are what they are does not mean that you won't have a good time. Why not? Most of your favorite songs are there and they're done with such panache and grace. While looking at them playing I thought many times:Man, this looks easy. Look at them! Hey, maybe I could drum like that!' The thing is, we realize fully in this DVD how good the guys are (especially Gavin Harrison). I cannot play like Harrison, but they make it look like a cakewalk on easy street.

Cold? Yes. Moody? Kinda. Darkish? You to judge. Entertaining? Oh yeah.

For me this DVD is excellent Love it.

Well, they don't try to make "show" but the sound and visualization is fantastic for me.

Cold?? I would say Harrison and Colin Edwin definitelly not. I know Wilson looks cold but he said in some interview that he is typical english man. Emotions are inside, it's just his personality. When you know his lyrics, I guess you would agree that he puts his emotions into words and music and not into how he looks on stage.
