Um...it's kind of catchy and fun, but ultimately I think it's length works against it. And yes, it's very safe. Dunno...maybe I just can't tolerate this kind of music beyond the singles. It gets too samey after a while. Probably won't be listening to it much...:\

I saw this band on The Colbert Report and they seemed like pretty cool people.
It's a shame I never got into their music.

listen to dookie, then stop because thats the only really good thing this band has ever done. this album is REAL boring.

I've listened to a few tracks, admittedly I haven't given the album much of a chance. Know Your Enemy was terrible Viva La whatever was catchy but both lyrically and musically reeked of teenage cliche's. To me, their music screams "I can do better then this but I won't because my teenage audience won't identify with it".

lieasleep 06-04-2009 08:45 PM

yes. to all of that.

FooFighting 06-05-2009 08:20 AM

good. but that stupid Know Your Enemy is repetitive like anything!

Rickenbacker 06-09-2009 04:35 PM

I think it's pretty alright.

Murder City and 21 Guns are the best on the album for me.
