Nickelback's more successful than you'll ever be. I hate their music, but I respect how they've handled their careers. So I honestly agree 100% with Chris on that subject.

Anyway, I'm still looking for a legit reason for you people to hate them. You think they're absolute garbage but you don't have a reason for it? That's quite sad. I honestly think that any human being that honestly think this album deserves a 1/10 is just too pretentious and full of themselves and think that it's gay to like this band. That is seriously the only explanation I can come up with.

Sorry Dr. Phil. I will hang my head in shame.

You should go into psychology or motivational therapy.

If you`re really looking for some reasons:

*Try whiney singing thats enough to drive a person insane after exposure to just one song.
* Listening to Chris Martin banging on the keyboards and singing along, now thats sheer torture.
* Chris Martin sweats, cool rockers aren`t seen to sweat.
* This band is labelled post-Britpop now thats even worse than post-grunge..........its enough to make anybody vomit.
*Fuck they even make Oasis look good.

If you don`t want people voting 1/10 for a band, why even put the option up there?

Why would anybody think the band is gay sounding???

This is funny because my college major really is psychology.

okay, just don't use the whole we are projecting our feelings of dislike to Nickleback out of jealously and resentment related to our own failures bit.

Can't say I'm a fan, unfortunately. I've found at least 2 or 3 songs from every one of their albums that I enjoy, but I can't say that for this one. I didn't even know about it so I'm not terribly disappointed. Better luck next time I suppose.

I posted my review in the album review section earlier today. Basically, although it's 97 times better than the god-awful "X & Y", the saturated production and incompetent guitar work of Johnny Buckland really get tiresome after a while.
