Everything everybody says about this album gives me an ear boner.

Dark, horrifying, angry, anxiety ridden, noisy, creepy, eerie, Hopsin had nothing to do with it. All great things.

Inb4 it turns out Russ was the mastermind behind this album all along.

Oh god no. The only thing worse than a Hopsin is a Russ. A guy who makes generic, uninspired trap music that's even more generic and uninspired than the average generic and uninspired trap song yet some how tricks people that hate trap for being generic and uninspired unto thinking it's great because he pretentiously ****s on all the generic and uninspired trappers proving that the simple minded people that like his music are really just mindless drones that let others tell them how to think and seek music out of the novelty of feeling pretentious rather than the enjoyment of music.

Run on sentences.

Seriously though just listen to this and then feel the need to listen to the rest of the album.

What's your take on Death btw? They wouldn't be the gateway band I'd have suggested but they're ****ing great. And I'd love to hear your immediate thoughts on Symbolic when you get to it. It was definitely a gateway album both to death metal and Death for me and even now is one cool ****ing shitfuck of an album. That title track has one of the best riffs I've ever heard.

My entry band to death metal is actually Horrendous. (I've been digging through threads looking for new music) So far, I've yet to hear a bad song. I like Death a bit more than I like Horrendous. And of all the metal I've heard, I think Death/black metal are my favorite, while Sludge is my least favorite (it gets way too tedious and uninteresting if it's not well produced)

Then you need this oddball album to get you into sludge. It goes so many places and has some of the best songs of the genre that you won't understand how you ever lived without it.

Don't **** talk sludge, bro. If there's one genre that contains the most amount of my favorite bands, it's sludge. Once I start the metal genre tournament one of these days my hopes are on sludge winning.

The Batlord 11-04-2018 05:23 PM

And I mean you got to get through the Melvins to **** talk sludge. That's impossible without wetting your pants.
