PINK!
I love God Is A DJ and Just Like A Pill.

Mascara 02-04-2006 08:43 PM

Agreed! :o

SeaShells 02-05-2006 05:17 AM

I was never a Pink fan but when I accompanied a friend to her concert a couple of years back, well, I was suitably impressed. She was fantastic!! She put on a great show. I love her music especially "Get the Party Started" and "Just like a Pill". I like her attitude too.

WolfishSmile 10-22-2006 10:29 AM

I never used to be a big fan of her, but my friend sent me this link of her singing live? I think the song's Nobody Knows, but it's totally converted me.

I love it! I think she's fantastic!

Her best song is probably Family Portrait. My favorite album is Missundastood

WolfishSmile 11-22-2006 05:08 AM

I saw her in Nottingham, and I thought the concert was pretty good. She got the crowd hyped with all the stunts and the singing was awesome. I didn't really like Nobody Knows much before I heard her sing it live, but now I really do :P

Anyone here think Nobody Knows is better or not as good as U+Ur Hand?

hiu 11-22-2006 02:15 PM

I like some of her music.

Her album Misundastood is so much better than her latest album.
Listen to her song Family Portrait

holdyoualways 11-30-2006 10:46 AM

i dont really like her
i think her "you & your hand" song is funny, just because of the title
other than that, blech

WolfishSmile 12-02-2006 08:36 AM

You should listen to the whole of I'm Not Dead before you judge. It's a pretty cool album, and it's got some of the songs on there that she hasn't released which are pretty in your face. Dear Mr President being the main one.

Definitely worth a listen....

NaNaNer 12-22-2006 12:45 PM

I like Pink...Dont let me get me..Like a pill..are good lyrically.

_Alizer_ 12-26-2006 11:29 AM

I actually don't hate Pink. Some of her songs were really good, and U and UR Hand was good, except for the irritating txt-spk title...

Wentzforthwithhaste 02-06-2007 10:23 AM

I Like Pink, She's clever funny and pretty. Who else has done one album and then completly reinvented herself for for the next. She matures with her music and is a true artist (i'm using artist as in a painting artist type. Where they never repeat the same thing... well true artists don't!) and she very out spoken and stands up for herself.

Well done love, well done!

WolfishSmile 02-10-2007 01:11 PM

Here's the official Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely) video! It's tour footage, including the infamous "Dork dance" :D Enjoy! And it's out [lmail] in March for download only... Bit of a shame.

She's not that bad looking really! And her music is one of my guilty pleasures, no doubt about that. JLAP and Who Knew

WolfishSmile 04-09-2007 12:36 PM

She's coming back to England this year. Anyone going to see her?

twotone 04-12-2007 05:02 AM

probably not but her voice is amazing

Lawsy 06-03-2007 10:32 PM

pink rules man i love her music hes not bubblegum pop like a lot of other artists and shes not afraid to voice her opinions like in dear mr president which i absolutley just love

Mystr55 06-21-2007 09:36 PM

she's just amazing. one of the most talented singers around now, for sure. i saw he in NYC when she toured with her M!ssundaztood album and her covers of Janis Joplin were phenomenal. what a show, and she still is a joy to watch because you know every performance will be amazing. i love Pink. ^_^

lesssalt 06-26-2007 12:53 PM

Is she still making music. She was a refreshing face, but she seems to have waned in these parts.

Daunus 05-22-2009 02:15 PM

I actually had the chance to see her perform before she was big... But I didn't know who she was at the time... The name threw me off, and I missed a great opportunity to catch some serious greatness in action. *Lament* Will always be a regret of mine.

Excellent contribution, nearly as good as this one.

Unrelenting 05-22-2009 07:37 PM

She's probably on of the best pop singers out there. Has the most attitude, that is for certain.

and I would **** her brains out

PinkCigarette 05-26-2009 10:21 AM

P!nk is overrated. Yeah, she has a few good songs but she has more songs that make you want to choke yourself.

hellzangelx 05-26-2009 10:40 AM

she is sexy and has a good voice but her new music is kinda meh.

AesopR123 05-28-2009 12:03 AM

Used to be a fan but not so much anymore.

boo boo 06-02-2009 01:32 AM

I think Pink lost her relevance when she dyed her hair to another color than that of her namesake.

As an obvious lover of the color pink, I felt betrayed.

She's still pink at heart.

What the hell is this 'Fun House'? Terrible record.
It's a shame because in that particular song her voice is actually interesting, but the lyrics are dire.
Another sad example of anti-music.

Astronomer 08-03-2009 06:43 PM

I'm not really a fan of Pink at all but I got free tickets to one of her concerts on Wednesday night. (She actually broke a record here in Australia for the most concerts ever performed in one city... I think she did something crazy like 12 shows in Melbourne where I live.)

Anyway, it was pretty amazing. For someone who's not a fan of Pink, or pop music in general, it was a really impressive show. She had loads of energy, her voice was fantastic, and the special effects were fun - especially all her crazy trapeze work she did.

I was impressed, and I quite enjoyed myself.

Did she have lots of costume changes? I like her look. I bet the sets were cool too.

Schizotypic 08-05-2009 06:51 AM

I came in here just to drop by and tell everyone that Pink has a brain. =/
Just noticing her songs are realistic 16-20's adult concepts, just done in teen angst pop ways. I think it's good, kids today who listen to crappy pop at least have someone who knows vaguely what they're doing in life.

tassels 08-05-2009 07:32 PM

^Good post up there. She does sing about a broad range of topics. Her albums tell a good story. Often the songs that become hits are quite different to the favourites I have on her albums.
She doesn't take herself too seriously, she's a bit of a big kid, and I guess that comes across in the "teen angst" style, as you put it. She's fun, but she does have deeper lyrics than what we always hear on the radio.

tassels 08-05-2009 08:14 PM

Pink from the old days

I like this old Pink interview. I can't remember what year can't take me Home came out, but it's a cool album.

The Boy 08-05-2009 11:40 PM

This interview makes me love P!nk so much. She's so cool! I never paid much attention to her when she started out but, seeing this makes me feel she was a very refreshing alternative to Britney, Mandy, Jessica and Christina at the time. I think her debut album came out in 2000?

tassels 08-06-2009 02:29 PM

So this interview is about 9 years old then. It's cool to see how she's changed, but also stayed the same.

DJB1975 08-16-2009 11:42 AM

Her CD's are great if used as pooper scoopers

Really? I would think that you would need something curved for scooping?

svern23 12-24-2009 10:29 PM

Pink is one of the best artists out there right now, I'd say she's pretty underrated! My favs. are "I'm Not Dead", "Who Knew", "Just Like A Pill", "Heartbreaker", & "Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely)"

NSW 12-30-2009 07:35 PM

This is the only song I really like by Pink. In fact, I love it.

I wish she'd sing more music like this. The stuff she's making now just doesn't have any kick, and IMO doesn't really show off her vocal talent.
