Default Emiliana Torrini

This Icelandic gem is by far my favorite pop musician; granted, she could almost be labeled darkwave at times. Her creative lyrics, beautiful voice, sweeping melodies, and upbeat percussions come together perfectly to form thoroughly enjoyable, meritable pop. 'Wednesday's Child' happens to be my favorite song right now, of any genre.

Any other fans? Or recommendations of similiar artists?

ps: Yes, I realize the second 'i' has an accent over it. I was too lazy to open MS Word and paste it in.

Love In The Time Of Science is a really good album. To Be Free, Sound Of Silence, Wednesdays Child, Unemployed In Summertime are all favourites of mine. Perfect summer chillout music.

Fishermans Woman is also a really good album, tending more towards folk than her first offering. Nothing Brings Me Down, Honeymoon Child and Today Has Been OK being favourites.

I like the album Fishermen's Woman though it's all I've given a listen. She does have a wonderful voice.

I think LOVE IN THE TIME OF SCIENCE was the only one I've heard. It was a fantastic album, with a fresh sound. Roland Orzabal from Tears For Fears produced it, and proved to the music world that a broader talent than we have been shown, heretofore.

I've only heard Me and Armini and liked it. It's not something I'd get obsessed about, but she does have a very good voice and the music is easy on the ears. She reminds me of Feist.
