ANyone else diggin Kate Nash? I think she is pretty great. "Foundations" is a solid song and from i've heard from the rest the album it could be one of the best of the year. She kinda reminds me of Lily Allen.

Jamie T is the real deal. I have spent many years promoting the bloke's cause and will defend him until my dying day (even if the realisation that someone who could quote classic poetry in his lyrics, was actually a bit of a nugget at heart, was hard to deal with) - at least his roughness is real. Lily spent a year or two (that she was too young to remember) in a council flat, until her dad made it big in a Blur video and got them all a 4 bed semi in suburbia - and a private education. Jamie is the ultimate council estate poet. Began by writing his lyrics on subway walls and on Vauxhall Nova windows. Honest. |
