Blue Sunday

One of the greatest American rock/pop bands. Lead by the legendary Brian Wilson these guys put out some tremendous material. The much heralded Pet Sounds stands as one of the greatest albums ever. No one captured teen anguish, fun like the Beach Boys. Some of their greatest songs to me were God Only Knows, The Warmth of the Sun, and Caroline, No. These songs in particular were some of the greatest/saddest love songs ever written. Paul MCartney of The Beatles once mentioned that he believes God Only Knows was the greatest pop song ever written. The more popular songs speak for themselves, classic such as Don`t Worry Baby, Good Vibrations, Little Surfer Girl, Barbara Ann, the list goes on. The intricate layering of vocals by these guys was beautiful. Over the past few years I`ve really come to appreciate The Beach Boys as putting out some of the greatest songs ever.
